Projects

Caritas in Veritate International is pleased to collaborate with one of its founding organizations, Partnership for China, to provide the following:

  • Student exchange programs
  • Cultural and educational trips for young adults
  • Adopt a Missionary Program
  • Educational programs - one or two year programs (including Chinese language courses)
  • The Bibles for China project
  • Annual China Forum

In India, CiVI works in collaboration with Jesus Youth, an international Catholic youth movement now active in nearly 27 countries around the world. Jesus Youth, from its very beginning, has encouraged young people to focus on charity.

  1. For Children

    Jesus Youth's child support project was founded to support the education of financially disadvantaged students. Through this initiative, they are able to make students' dreams for free education a reality. Today, almost 2,500 children are part of this project, from all over India.


Allocating homes to 100 Families: at Croix-des-Bouquets we plan to purchase 10 acres of land to build 100 homes and common areas, an extension of the school, a clinic, a sports center, a center for abused women and children, college prep facilities, an administration center, and a chapel. We later plan to replicate the initial phase on another 40 acres in order to allocate homes to 400 more families.

CiVI, in collaboration with Efforts to Educate the Needy Children of Uganda (EENU), is in the process of digging several wells to provide fresh water to thousands of people in various African countries. These projects are also accompanied by formation programs that share the teachings of Jesus.

In partnership with the Raza Development fund, Caritas in Veritate International supports the building of homes and various micro-financing projects. Another priority for CiVI is the mentoring program of young men and women - based on Christian ethics - with the intention of raising up leaders with ethical principles.
