Structure
Caritas in Veritate International is a confederation of Catholic institutions, registered in Belgium, dedicated to recruiting, forming, mobilizing and engaging young volunteers, to bring charity in truth, and human progress to all people.
The Four Main Pillars of CiVI are:
1) Works of Charity - in the light of Deus Caritas Est
2) Proclamation of the Truth
3) Formation - through the Benedict XVI Institute
4) Unity with the Bishops
Arise International
Equips bishops, priests and lay leaders with the vision of charity and truth.
Benedict XVI Institute
Supports CiVI's philosophy and spirituality. It has been established to train volunteers for service through formation and mentoring in the work of charity, marriage, family life, and global engagement.
CiVI International Volunteers
Offering short and long-term opportunities for volunteers to serve in different nations.
Caritas Villages
Community support complexes that include low-cost housing, schools,a health clinic, a Church and centers for youth, abused children, and workforce development.
